SY21 Bak School Advisory Council

The next Bak MSOA SAC meeting will  be at school on November 11th at 5:45 pm in the Media Center. If you would like to attend online in order to ensure social distancing, safety, and other medical considerations you may do so.  If you are planning to attend on campus, please read below to see the protocols and make sure you meet the health requirements.  The Google Meet link is located below if you are attending virtually.

You MAY NOT attend the SAC Meeting in person (must attend virtually) if:
  • You experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 48 hours: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea?
  • Within the past 14 days, have you been in close physical contact (6 feet or closer for at least 15 minutes) with a person who is known to have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 or with anyone who has any symptoms consistent with COVID-19?
  • You are isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 or are worried that you may be sick with COVID-19?
  • You are currently waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test?

If the visitor's answer is "yes" to any of the above questions, they will be denied entry to District facilities. Overview of Visitor health safety protocols, which can be found at: https://www.palmbeachschools.org/cms/one.aspx?portalId=270616&pageId=12466666.

If you answered "NO" to all the questions above and plan to attend the SAC meeting on campus, you must adhere to the following:

  • Arrive on campus by 5:35 pm and report to the front of Students Services to complete visitor form.
  • Wait to gain entry and report directly to the Media Center
  • Wear face coverings at all times. Facial coverings should cover your nose and your mouth and comply with the CDC recommendations. All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must be made with at least 2, but preferably 3, layers of breathable material, fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face and be secured with ties or ear loops allowing the wearer to remain hands-free. At this time, based on guidance from health authorities, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas, and mesh material, valves or holes of any kind are not acceptable face coverings. Please note facial coverings are in addition to, and not a substitute for, the required social distancing. Exemptions or accommodations to facial coverings must be verified by a treating licensed medical physician as required by ADA. A request for accommodation and supporting documentation must be provided in advance to the principal or designee for approval at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Comply with all directives in this policy and directions from site administrators, related to health and safety, including, but not limited to: usage and passage through common areas and shared spaces.
  • Abide by social distancing guidelines, keeping a minimum of 6 feet apart.
  • Avoid congregating when moving throughout the District Property.
  • Visitors, including parents/guardians, do not have unrestricted access to School District property and must remain in approved areas only.
