Students MUST Register for SY22 Transportation

If your child attended a PBC school last year and has an active Student Portal in SIS, you can register your child for SY22 Transportation.
Please go to your child's Student Portal and type in "Register Your Ride" and the icon will pop-up. Click on the icon and follow the directions provided. The system will determine what mode of transportation your child is eligible for based on the primary address in SIS.

If your child has a secondary address (e.g., students have two households due to parents not living in the same location), transportation will ONLY be provided to the primary address of the student (the system will only take one address). Once school begins, there will be a process to request transportation for the second address (documentation will be required).  The decision to provide a second bus is made by the Transportation Department, not the school.

Please be reminded that the system decides what mode of transportation your child rides based on the primary address in SIS. If speaking to the Transportation Department, please do not tell them what bus you think your child rides or if you believe that your child is eligible to ride Tri-Rail. This only confuses the process.  The system will decide - you will be informed before school starts of your child's district-sponsored transportation.

IF your child is new to Bak MSOA for SY22 - Please read the update from the Transportation Department as of July 19, 2021.
The majority of the students will be able to register for transportation. Due to recent developments, those students that do not have a Student Portal will have to wait a bit longer to activate their accounts - see below for more information and the different options to register for transportation.

Update from the Transportation Department:

Students who have access to their PBC Student Portal, may register for transportation – Do not worry if the grade and school are not updated - it is correct on the district's screen. If your address is not correct in SIS, please email Joanne.Friedel@palmbeachschools.org with documentation of your new address (e.g., water or phone bill, lease).

If your child is new to PBC and/or does not have a Student Portal (this include charter schools), you can wait until you have access to activate your child’s SIS Student Portal to register (wait until July 26th- or- you can call the Transportation Help Center and provide them with your child’s information - I was informed that they can complete the transportation registration process for you.
