School Advisory Council - SAC 

Bak’s SAC meets the second (2nd) Wednesday at 5:45 pm in the Media Center. Parents, guardians, a student representative, and business and community members are welcome to attend. Proposed meeting dates are: 9/8/21, 11/10/21, 1/12/22, 3/9/22, and 5/11/22.  On September 8th, we will vote on membership, approve the School Improvement Plan, and review our SAC by-laws.

If you are planning to attend, please read below to see the protocols and make sure you meet the health requirements. All participants should arrive no later than 5:40 pm and go to Students Services. At this time, you will be required to answer a COVID questionnaire.
visitors and participants MUST wear a MASK. 
You MAY NOT attend the SAC Meeting if:
  • You experienced any of the following symptoms in the past 48 hours: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea?
  • Within the past 14 days, have you been in close physical contact (6 feet or closer for at least 15 minutes) with a person who is known to have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 or with anyone who has any symptoms consistent with COVID-19?
  • You are isolating or quarantining because you may have been exposed to a person with COVID-19 or are worried that you may be sick with COVID-19?
  • You are currently waiting on the results of a COVID-19 test?

If the visitor's answer is "yes" to any of the above questions, they will be denied entry to District facilities. Overview of Visitor health safety protocols, which can be found at:

If you answered "NO" to all the questions above and plan to attend the SAC meeting, you must adhere to the following:

  • Arrive on campus by 5:40 pm and report to the front of Students Services to complete visitor form.
  • Wait to gain entry and report directly to the Media Center
  • Comply with all directives in this policy and directions from site administrators, related to health and safety, including, but not limited to: usage and passage through common areas and shared spaces.
  • Wear a MASK. 
  •  Abide by social distancing guidelines, keeping a minimum of 6 feet apart.
  • Avoid congregating when moving throughout the District Property.
  • Visitors, including parents/guardians, do not have unrestricted access to School District property and must remain in approved areas only.
