This year-long class produces the daily live video news show for the school. Focus is placed on the production of the news program and the technical execution of the live show. Students will demonstrate professional techniques of TV studio work through rotating assignments on the studio crew including producer, scriptwriter, feature and news reporter, director, camera operator, switcher, graphics teleprompter, audio, and floor manager. Students must have a strong sense of self-direction and be able to work well under strict deadlines and in a team environment. Prerequisite: TV Production I and Electronic News Gathering; There is an Application Process for this course
